We understand that there are many questions about the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and how it affects your stay on board of our ships. Our priority is to ensure the safety and well being of our customers and staff.
Because the situation and regulations may change on an hourly basis in the coming period, it is not always clear to us either.

We have listed the most frequently asked questions regarding the Coronavirus for you.

Blank 1400 x 200

Our goal is a carefree and safe stay on board, for both our guests and the crew. You are very welcome if the government has not imposed any restrictions that make your stay on board impossible.
Unfortunately, when you booked a sailing trip in the period up to May 26, 2021, your sailing trip will not take place. This decision is a result of the measures imposed by the government.

If you have booked a sailing trip till May 26, 2021, you can transfer it free of charge to a period later in this year or up to 370 days in advance. We take the amount paid to us as a deposit for your rebooked sailing trip.

If you do not want to or cannot rebook your sailing trip, we will refund your already paid amount. This only applies if your sailing trip is canceled by the ship owner.

Can I still go on holiday after May 26, 2021?

After May 26, 2021 we are carrying out the trips based on the applicable restrictions and in consultation with our guests.
Approx. one month before departure we request that you provide us with the following information:
- First and last name of the participants
- Date of birth of the participants
- whether and which participants run a joint household
With this information the shipowner will make a decision, whether he / she can make the sailing trip with you, taking into account the measures in accordance with government guidelines. In this way we protect your and our health and avoid risks. So you can enjoy a carefree time on board.

Canceling of a sailingtrip with a departure date after May 26, 2021

You are more than welcome on board after May 26, 2021. Our skippers love to go sailing with you. It is therefore only under certain circumstances possible to cancel or rebook the trip free of charge. The restrictions on the date of departure are decisive. We look 14 to a maximum of 20 days ahead here.

You will find the regular cancellation conditions in the general terms and conditions that were sent to you upon booking.

Whether your insurance covers the cancellation depends on your insurance. We advise you to contact your insurer about this.

Only in the event of travel restrictions for the Netherlands (code red) on the date of departure you can cancel your trip free of charge. As a result, this cannot be predicted far in advance. Should this be the case, we will inform you immediately and before the start of the trip.

Hygiene on board

Safe travel is given the highest priority on board.
The ships are cleaned extra thoroughly after every trip. The crew wears protective gloves for this. The various areas are well ventilated and surfaces and contact points such as door handles and light switches are disinfected.

If you rented the ship for your own groep, you are responsible for the daily cleaning below deck during your stay on board.

On deck, the crew regularly cleans the railing and other frequently touched surfaces.

Maximum number of participants on board

In the Netherlands, a maximum of 1 household plus 2 person may currently stay on board. Children up to and including 12 years are not included in this. When it comes to a joint household, there is no limit to the number of people on board.

There is a maximum of 2 adults older then 27 years on deck. There is no maximum number for 'young people' <27 years, as sailing is seen as an outdoor sport. Day trips with young people up to 27 years old are possible.
